West One Loans’ has made four new hires as part of a push to drive significant growth across its residential mortgage and second charge divisions.
Lesley Terry, who has more than 20 years' experience in the industry, joined as a Regional Account Manager for Midlands. She joined from Saffron Building Society, where she was a BDM covering this region. Prior to her time at Saffron, Lesley was Head of Specialist Lending at New Homes Mortgage Services for more than 17 years.
Helen Linnen joins West One as its new BDM for South West and Wales. Helen has more than 20 years' experience working in the region for other lenders and joins from The Mortgage Lender, where she was a BDM.
Both Helen and Lesley will report to Paul Huxter, Head of Intermediary Sales and Distribution, and will focus on developing broker relationships with directly authorised brokers and appointed representatives of network partnerships across West One's residential mortgage range.
West One have also hired Jo Sharp, who has more than 25 years' experience in the mortgage market. Jo joins the Specialist Distribution Team as Key Account Manager, a new role created to help nurture and grow the lender's packager relationships across their residential mortgage and second charge products. Jo joins from Tandem, where she has spent the past three years as an underwriter, having previously worked in similar roles for Pepper Money and the Newcastle Building Society.
March Peprah, who has more than 10 years' experience in the industry, join as Telephone BDM for the North West. Marc joins from Elva Finance, where he was Head of Mortgages.
The addition of Jo, Lesley, Helen, and Marc means West One have added eleven new hires to their mortgages team in the past two months. This follows the lender's announcement in May that it planned to invest heavily in its residential mortgage team to ensure it had the right expertise and experience in place to execute its ambitious expansion strategy.
West One also plans to announce a series of existing product and criteria enhancements in the coming months in a bid to boost the appeal of its range.
