The client owned their own building company and had a lot of experience building luxury properties including houses and apartments.
The property developer and builder had bought a plot of land to build 4 x 3 bedroom semi-detached luxury homes totalling 6,108 sq ft situated in Waltham Abby.
They needed funds to finance the build, to pay back the facility once the houses had been sold.
When taking on the build of a property yourself, you will need to be fully experienced and have some previous projects under your belt before a lender will feel comfortable.
This client had all the experience and skills needed, as well as several successfully completed projects. We provided a development finance facility, as this was the most suitable form of finance for this project. This would allow the client to start work on the build quickly.
